Mingo Development, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates Coach Scott AI (the “Service”), accessible at coachscott.ai. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

By using Coach Scott AI, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.

2.2 Profile Information

You may voluntarily provide career-related information including your resume, work history, education, target job titles, salary preferences, skills, and application default answers (such as demographic information for EEO compliance).

2.3 Gmail Data (with your permission)

If you choose to connect your Gmail account, we access your emails in read-only mode to identify job application confirmations, rejection notices, and job alert emails. We use this data solely to populate your job pipeline and radar. We do not read, store, or process emails unrelated to job searching. Gmail access can be revoked at any time from your profile settings.

Specifically, we search for emails from known Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, iCIMS, etc.) and job alert services (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.). We extract job titles, company names, and application dates from these emails. We do not store the full email content.

2.4 Job and Company Data

We store information about jobs you track, companies you target, radar leads from job alerts, and activity notes you create within the Service.

2.5 Documents

You may upload resumes and other career documents. These are stored securely and are only accessible to you.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service, including job tracking, pipeline management, and career analytics
• To parse and organize job-related emails from your Gmail (with your explicit permission)
• To score job leads against your profile preferences
• To extract job details from career page URLs you provide
• To generate career analytics and insights from your job search activity
• To improve and personalize the Service
• To communicate with you about the Service

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled, ensuring you can only access your own data. Gmail OAuth tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before storage. Documents are stored in encrypted cloud storage.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and encryption at rest for sensitive data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with any third parties except:

• Service providers: We use Supabase for database hosting, Vercel for application hosting, and Google APIs for authentication and Gmail access. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy

Coach Scott AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We only request the minimum scopes necessary (gmail.readonly for reading job-related emails)
• We do not use Gmail data for advertising or marketing purposes
• We do not share Gmail data with third parties (except as required for service operation)
• We do not allow humans to read your email content unless you provide explicit consent, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law
• All Gmail data access is solely for the purpose of providing job search management features to you

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and update: You can view and update your personal information through the Profile and Settings pages at any time.
• Gmail disconnection: You can disconnect Gmail integration at any time from the Admin page. This stops all email scanning immediately.
• Data deletion: You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting support@coachscott.ai.
• Google permissions: You can revoke Coach Scott AI's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete all your personal data, job records, documents, and Gmail tokens within 30 days. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics or tracking scripts are loaded.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
