1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Coach Scott AI (“the Service”), operated by Mingo Development, Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Coach Scott AI is a career search management platform designed for executive-level professionals. The Service provides tools for tracking job applications, managing a pipeline of opportunities, discovering job leads through Gmail integration, organizing target companies, storing career documents, and analyzing job search performance.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.

4. Gmail Integration

The Service offers optional Gmail integration that scans your email for job-related communications. This feature:

• Requires your explicit consent before activation
• Accesses Gmail in read-only mode — we cannot send, delete, or modify your emails
• Only processes emails from known job-related senders (ATS platforms, job boards)
• Can be disconnected at any time through the Admin page
• Follows Google's API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Use the Service to collect or harvest information about others without their consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated means to access the Service except as explicitly provided (e.g., Gmail sync)
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service, including profile information, job records, notes, and uploaded documents. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.

You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Job Scoring and Recommendations

The Service provides automated job scoring and career insights based on your profile and preferences. These scores and recommendations are provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional career advice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of job scoring.

8. URL Extraction

The Service can extract job details from career page URLs you provide. This feature accesses publicly available information from those pages. We are not responsible for the accuracy of information extracted from third-party websites.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service unavailability.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Mingo Development, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@coachscott.ai.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
